Use the Add Email Info window to tell QuickBooks about your web email provider.
In the Email Id field, enter your email address.
Click the Email Provider drop-down arrow and select your provider. If your provider isn't on the list
Check with your email provider to gather the information you need for steps c, d, and e.
Select Others .
Enter the server name.
Enter the port.
If your email provider offers secure connections, select the SSL/TLS checkbox for added security.

QuickBooks fills in the server details for you, but you can change the server name, port, or security setting, if necessary .
In the Add Email Info window, click OK .
In the Preferences window, select the email address you want to edit.
Below the table, click Edit .
Change the settings as needed. To use QuickBooks' default settings, click Reset Default .

Note: If your email provider offers secure (SSL/TLS) connections, QuickBooks automatically selects the SSL/TLS checkbox for added security. However, some web email providers don't offer secure connections, so be sure to check with your email provider before selecting the SSL/TLS checkbox.
Click OK .
